Data: How Massachusetts Arts Sector Has Recovered From Covid Shutdowns

A new study examines financial and operating trends of a cohort of Massachusetts arts and cultural organizations before, during, and after the early stages of emergence from the pandemic (2019-2022). Despite an uptick in many financial and operating metrics during reopening, most organizations were still working to recover to their pre-pandemic levels of organizational wellbeing as of 2022.
