Snead has also been instrumental in raising the orchestra’s national profile, with performances at … Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art … He led the search that brought artistic director Jonathan Cohen to H+H, replacing Harry Christophers, who is now conductor laureate…. Prior to joining H+H, Snead worked as a vice president at the New York Philharmonic. During his nearly 50-year career in the performing arts, Snead has worked with … organizations including the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and the Hartford Symphony Orchestra.”
